Band Requirements

All band students are required to have the following equipment listed for their instrument by the beginning of band camp on July 22nd.

SHOES- All band students must own a pair of marching shoes (black, will be fitted at band camp).

BLACK SOCKS- All band students must own long black socks.

POLO SHIRT- All band students must own a band polo shirt.

TUNER- All woodwind and brass players should have a tuner app on their phone if possible.  We recommend “Tonal Energy” which is a tuner and metronome but costs $5.  A good free tuner is “instuner.”

METRONOME- All band students should have a metronome app on their phone if possible.  We recommend “Tonal Energy” which is a tuner and a metronome but costs $5.  A good free metronome is “Metronome Precision Metronome & Timer by Onyx apps)

FLUTE- Foundations for Superior Performance book, black binder, sheet protectors, pencil, flip folder and pages.

CLARINET- Foundations for Superior Performance book, binder, sheet protectors, pencil, 3 reeds (pick your strength), cork grease, mouthpiece (Van Doren m15 recommended), ligature (Rovner 1r dark recommended), flip folder, pages, and a lyre.

BASS CLARINET- Foundations for Superior Performance book, binder, sheet protectors, pencil, 3 reeds (pick your strength), cork grease (optional but encouraged: Mouthpiece, Ligature, specific reeds).

ALTO SAX- Foundations for Superior Performance book, binder, sheet protectors, pencil, 3 reeds (size 3 recommended), cork grease mouthpiece (Selmer S80 C* recommended), ligature (Rovner 1r dark recommended), flip folder, pages, and a lyre.

PERCUSSION (BATTERY)- Binder, sheet protectors, pencil, pencil holder, ear protection, 1 pair of marching sticks (Vic Firth Corpsmaster wrapped in tape)

PERCUSSION (MELODICS)- Binder, sheet protectors, pencil, pencil holder
